Dog Playground :: Orlando, FL

At AlternaScapes, we LOVE pets! We believe in the unconditional love and companionship offered by pets and in the power of pets to help and heal people.
According to a study entitled The Health Benefits of Companion Animals, “Among other benefits, animals have been demonstrated to improve human cardiovascular health, reduce stress, decrease loneliness and depression, and facilitate social interactions among people who choose to have pets.”*
Adopting a pet from a shelter is a great option! There are so many wonderful pets waiting in shelters to be adopted.
Take a tour of just one of these shelters, Orange County Animal Services in Orlando, Florida. We installed EasyTurf artificial grass at their facility in 2011 and they just love it! At 1:51, you can see their Dog Run-Playground area, where they bring people out to play with dogs waiting to be adopted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q22tVQkim4A
